The non-profit San Francisco Girls Chorus provides accessible, comprehensive music education and performance programs that serve Bay Area girls from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds. SFGC's programs are built on the highest standards of artistic and educational excellence. The Chorus sets challenging goals and teaches the skills necessary to reach those goals. This fusion of art and skills – discipline, self-confidence, teamwork, perseverance, respect for others – shapes girls into confident, capable young women, preparing them for a lifetime of success on the concert stage, in the classroom, and in life.

SFGC relies on the generous tax-deductible support of individual, institutional, and government funders, as earned revenues from tuition cover only about 40 percent of the cost of our comprehensive music education programs.   • 每年演出的曲目由12种语言的100首曲目组成，涵盖了6个世纪以来的古典、民谣、世界音乐和当代风格的100首曲目。
